Overview of the Position

The teacher's duties will be split between assisting the Kindergarten class and the Pre-K classes. In addition to assisting in the classroom, the teacher will be assigned a variety of supervision duties so as to make up a full time position.


Candidates must be fluent in progressive educational theory and practices, be culturally competent, and have previous classroom teaching/assisting experience. Candidates must have valid qualifications for working with preschool students, which include the 12 core semester units of the ECE curriculum (Child Development, Family and Community). Candidates must meet State Licensing requirements which include Live Scan Fingerprinting, current TB clearance and health report, CPR and First Aide training. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, adaptable and have a nurturing and supportive tone with students.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
