Responsibilities
Prepares required internal, local, state, and federal reports in a timely, accurate manner using the college administrative software (Colleague) and other resources while communicating with other KSOE personnel to ensure uniformity of required reports
Supports KSOE level data analysis and reporting needs
Develops, maintains, and updates queries and reports to fulfill recurring data needs for internal and external reporting requirements
Develops, maintains, and updates data reports on a wide range of topics including student demographics, enrollment, persistence and completion
Maintains computerized collections and tracking systems of relevant data
Designs and/or develops specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of data
Uses those databases to analyze, interpret, and summarize data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports in a timely mannerEvaluate data for structural integrity and consistency
Identifies trends/anomalies in the data collected to understand the source of data inaccuracies
Assist in the preparation of online surveys and the collection of data necessary to complete internal and external project reports and surveysMay provide a variety of professional, administrative, and/or clerical services as assignedAssist in the annual Commencement ceremony Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
In education, measurement, psychology, social science, public policy, economics, technology, or related field
Previous experience that provides evidence of understanding of basic statistical techniques and/or related experience, preferably in a higher education setting
Working knowledge of data management systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups
Ability to work together with a diverse population verbally and in writing, in a professional and helpful manner, and to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations
Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and changing project requirements
Ability to prioritize, follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion
Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and effectively with all types of data
Ability to proactively analyze problems, identify solutions, and suggest solutions using independent judgment and decision-making processes
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality related to sensitive information

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
