The AMT supports all REACH departmentsto ensure safe and efficient high quality patient transports.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs and alterations in accordance withmaintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and applicableFederal Aviation Regulations (FAA), company policies and procedures, in a timely manner, witha high standard of safety and quality.
Ensures all aircraft maintenance record entries are executed and submitted in compliance withapplicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures and applicablemaintenance manuals.
Participates in company programs to ensure continuous process improvement including but notlimited to the ASAP/MSAP Program, Safety and Risk program, and the Continuing Analysis andSurveillance System.
Maintains, monitors and is accountable for fuel equipment, aircraft parts, tools, supplies andground support equipment in accordance with REACH Air Medical Services, LLC.
GeneralOperations Manual, as required.
Acts as support for other mechanics when parts and additional maintenance resources arerequired.
Supports all REACH Bases/Departments with professionalism.
Interacts on a regular basis with all Shop AMT's, all Base AMT's, aircraft maintenance companyrepresentatives, FAA, and others as required.
Serves as a role model to other AMT's.
Works on special projects as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications (Hangar AMT):
Valid and Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
Previous experience working under CFR Parts 135 and 145 preferred.
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, and of EMS aviation practices and requirementspreferred.

Avionics troubleshooting knowledge and basic electrical repair experience required.
Aircraft systems knowledge required.

Aircraft maintenance planning experience required.
Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical publications todetermine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damagedcomponents.
May occasionally travel to other REACH out bases to assist in maintenance events or supportoperations.
Strong work ethic and initiative with an ability to work a flexible schedule including overtimeand 24/7 on-call rotations.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
o Proficient in a dynamic computerized environment to include Microsoft Office Suite, web-basedEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, internet, etc.
Must possess basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability of personally owned toolsin accordance with REACH policies.
Job Requirements and Qualifications (Hangar Lead AMT):
Meets all requirements of the Hangar AMT Section as well as those listed in this section.
Valid and Current FAA Inspection Authorization required.
Three (3) years turbine powered aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
Works with the Hangar Manager to maintain the REACH aircraft maintenance and inspectionprocesses utilized in all hangar maintenance operations.
Continually refines integrated aircraftmaintenance and inspection procedures.
Establishes maintenance plans for hangar aircraft including inspections and unscheduled events.
Ensures that all technical data on all articles inspected, repaired, or maintained by the hangar arekept current with latest revisions.
Completes and submits FAA Form 337s when required.
Oversees the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as required.
Ensures that rejected and unserviceable parts are handled in such a way as to prevent their reuseas serviceable parts.

Meets all requirements of the Hangar AMT Section as well as those listed in this section.
Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter or fixed-wing maintenance experience required.
Ability to plan and coordinate scheduled and preventative maintenance plan and forecast aircraftdowntime in coordination with Regional Maintenance Manager.
Responsible for validating the aircraft Status Reports for aircraft assigned.
Responsible for advising the Pilot in Command (PIC) of any maintenance issues that would takean aircraft out of service.
Request aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory.
Valid Drivers License in State where employed and proof of liability insurance.
Effectively able to communicate with the base crew including medical staff, pilots, and theleadership team.

Must be willing to travel up to 75 percent of the time to field base locations for maintenance support, asdirected.
Travel may be required anywhere within the REACH Air Medical Services system.
Must be able to adapt to a new location with limited knowledge of the surrounding area.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required todo the following:
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing programUtilize visual acuity to read technical information, use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach withhands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Perform activities requiring a moderate amount of standing, sitting, and walking.
Capable of lifting 50lbs.
Work Environment:
Entails exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, may be exposed to loudaircraft noise, fumes, gasses, odors, dust particles and mechanical/electrical and chemical hazards.
