We're currently looking for a Part Time Caregiver in Moraga, CA 94556 A lovely family in Moraga, near the Country Club, is seeking a part time caregiver for their easy going 85 year old mother-in-law to start as soon as possible.
Care is needed, ideally long-term, Mondays-Fridays, 8am-12pm and Saturdays, 9am-3pm.
There may be occasional Saturdays, possibly once per month, when care is not needed.
The family is open to offering extra hours, if the caregiver is open to this, for backup overnight care on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm-7am, however, candidates are not required to have availability for this.
The client is in the late stages of dementia and the family is looking for someone who has experience with this.
She enjoys listening to older music, watching Seinfeld, and going on walks in the park.
The client wears Depends and will need assistance with walking (holding under her arm), using the restroom, getting dressed, and washing her hair.
The client often resists her medication in the morning and the provider will need to encourage the client to successfully take her medication.
There is a 30 pound friendly dog in the home, however, no pet care is needed.
A great candidate will be interactive, positive and reliable.

clean driving record Must have a reliable vehicle to transport client; will receive gas reimbursement when driving client Must have previous experience with memory care.
